The Mayor's Ball
Please make plans to attend the Mayor’s Ball for the Art and Humanities, Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the North Dakota Heritage Center. There will be a cash bar, hors d’oeuvres, music and yes, a little bit of fundraising. Tickets are $50 each.
We will be auctioning off a GOLDEN TICKET, which will include tickets to many arts and cultural events held in our community throughout the year, including, but not limited to: a Gateway to Science Family Pass; Symphony 'Pick Three' Tickets; BAGA Festival of the Arts Tickets; Two tickets to 2018 Dakota Digital Film Festival; Northern Plains Dance Season Tickets; Downtowners Art & Wine Walk and Central Dakota Children’s Choir Season Tickets for Two.
We will also have two local artists, Ali LaRock and Sam Coleman, creating PAINTINGS that will be auctioned off that evening. Shane Balkowitsch, Ambrotypist, has donated a beautiful glass print of his 'Murderer's Gulch' wet plate photo. You can go home with some fabulous art!
Wondering what to wear? We don't care! Tux, jeans, ball gown, business casual - we just want you to come and support this event.
The Mayor's Ball, in Bismarck, ND, was created to recognize, support and promote the organizations that contribute to the culture of our community.
Watch our video to see just some of the organizations you can help!
2017 was the inaugural year of the event. We raised $3000 to be split between Bismarck Arts & Galleries Association and Central Dakota Children's Choir.
Every year, two non-profits will be chosen to receive the funds raised at the ball. We are looking forward to seeing you at the 2018 Mayor's Ball!
